Grace B. Poppe is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker, writer, and educator. She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts Photo/Video Department in 2021. Her thesis Divisions (21:00) is a two-channel video installation that acts as a portrait to the endangered small neighborhoods of queens, nyc. Grace makes cinèma-verité and satirical short films that translate letters and personal essays to the screen. She has also collaborated with musicians and dancers to produce, direct, and shoot music videos and performances.
