Grace B. Poppe is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker, photographer, and writer who creates authentic portraits of people doing what they love. Grace received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts Photo/Video Department in 2021, with her film Divisions (21:00), a two-channel video installation portrait of the endangered small neighborhoods of Queens, NYC. She works as a videographer for NYC public educational television station CUNY-TV. Her most recent film, SAMLAND, won Best Short Documentary at Borrego Springs Festival and SOHO International Film Festival and will continue playing at other festivals around the country into 2026.
