Grace B. Poppe is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker, writer, and educator. As a freelancer, she collaborates with musicians and dancers to produce, shoot, and edit music videos, performances, and movement-based short films. In her personal work, she makes cinèma-verité and satirical short films that translate letters and personal essays to the screen. Grace received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts Photo/Video Department in 2021, with her film Divisions (21:00), a two-channel video installation portrait of the endangered small neighborhoods of Queens, NYC.
