burgers & bikinis is an on-going case study about objectification in the fast food industry. self-portraits make use of (1) humor and (2) frozen food purchased local markets in downtown dayton, ohio - a city that qualifies as a food desert. corn dogs, a pig's foot, and frozen chicken stands in for that scrumptious burger you're always craving after a Hardee's ad streaks across your television screen. male muses pose in traditionally "feminine" clothing, re-creating ads that were originally shot of females.
