in an exploration of the construction of individual female identities, these warrior women agreed to be my muses, one life-size alien doll and package of spandex at a time. the full project combines personal anecdotes, critical theory, interviews, and current female pop culture icons. the photos here detail my unshakeable muses in their homes, apartments, or bedrooms – using clothing or props that were in some way key in building their current brand of femininity.
